Calcium hydroxide or calcium chloride, which one is edible lime?

According to wikipedia, pickling lime is a name for calcium hydroxide. This compound is quite different than calcium chloride, so I would assume that it matters which one you buy. Both compounds are edible, though; in fact, calcium chloride is present in drinking water (read the ingredients on a bottle of water). Buy the hydroxide.
