The Register has been fully operational since 1 July 2008. Lobbyists can submit their applications for registration online (go to https://lobbyists.pmc.gov.au). Lobbyists not on the Register from 1 July 2008 can not meet Government representatives in their capacity as a lobbyist until they have registered.
