By what date should the initial files be submitted for Wisconsin Student Number assignment purposes?
A district/school file(s) should be submitted for initial WSN assignment purposes during May and June of 2004 after the personnel for the district/school have attended training. Data contained in this 2003-04 file(s) will be used for 2003-04 Wisconsin School Performance Report and ESEA Report Card purposes. Districts postponing the submission of files until after June may have more difficulty reporting 2003-04 data especially if the required data are not saved locally. The fall 2004 ISES collection requires 2003-04 WSLS data. Fall is a busy time to try to play catch up even if data have been saved.
