Nelson-PNW-ATC – I understand. I was making a technical point that I thought was important. As to Bush’s pronouncements and anger, he is usually off base with them and it is always a plus when he does not act as an avenging angel. I suspect that everything happened under his specific or implied orders and that it would be wrong to let an otherwise decent, family man go to prison for carrying out his President’s plan. The man has what I would consider an adequate penalty, a huge fine and probation. He is no danger to society and his life is already ruined. I never wish ill to any of my enemies and it irks me when Republicans and Democrats go after each other and want to put each other in jail. Yes, it was a serious crime and yes the President and Vice President misused power, but in this case, what he did was motivated by the right stuff inside of them. I cannot see any redemptive purpose in the man going to jail, but even if he did, it would be for obstruction of justice and not for tr
