Many business coaches and executive coaches are solo professionals who are engaged in building a business. However, what I have observed is that many of these same individuals are clueless as to the difference between business marketing and sales. That ignorance may be part of the reason that they are not where they want to be. If you are a business coach or executive coach, can you define marketing and then define sales? Then can you identify when your marketing efforts end and your selling skills begin? Many in business do not have a clear definition of the numerous words that they use every day.
