It depends on your overall body weight. I have big calves as well and like the early post could never buy boots that would go over my calves. However, I am naturally thin and absolutely nothing is going to make my legs smaller. They are the size they are. My calves wouldn’t get to be “normal” size until my body weight was dangerous probably around 80lbs. So are you overweight or just large calves? I spoke to my trainer about this b/c I was concerned as well as just as there is nothing you can do to make them smaller, no training will make them larger either. If you have fat, calf raises, stretches like downward dog, and stairs will make your legs more muscular. Basically you’ll be getting more cardio in your day (which is good) and perhaps if you have fat on your legs it might drop a lil. But not if your legs are like mine and just a huge amount of muscle.
