For those of us committed to living a more sustainable life and leaving a lighter environmental footprint, it sometimes seems like the old adage “you can’t teach old dogs new tricks” limits the people with whom we would like to share a more eco-friendly way of living. Yet, if we just shrug our shoulders and mumble “there’s no point” every time we meet resistance, then things really won’t change. During this conversation we will ask: As individuals who embrace positive change to lessen our own eco-footprints while trying to set examples for others, what does it takes to spark real change and action in others?
