Budget SQ system for a 2010/2011 Chevy Camaro… what would you do?
I was approved to buy myself a Camaro RS/SS – coupe (dont want a convertible) And when I say approved – I got the “nod” from the better half that she would not kill me dead if I were to drive one home… next July. So, since I already know what color I will be getting, the package, etc… Theme: Orange Car with Black racing stripes so Orange and Black budget: 1500.00 – I know, I USED to spend 1500 on the car and 3k – 4k on the stereo…. alas, I have grown up a little. Goal: Sound Quality Speaker sizes 6.5″ comps up front w/pillar mounted tweeter 6×9″ in rear deck I will be replacing the head unit so factor that in to cost. I am sure the car has very little to no sound deadening, so I will need/want to deaden the doors at the least. Finally, I will want to modify the car as little as possible – so I doubt an 8″ woofer will be an option. the important things: * I listen to all kinds of music: Techno, Linkin Park, Jay-Z, Eminem, Blues traveller, john Mayer… * Stealth install in the cab
