Brussell Sprouts – Who likes them?
Yes I like them but do like to ring the changes on how we cook them as the flavour seems to change, depending on how you cook them, and boiled sprouts sometimes seem to produce that “objectionable” taste. They’re delicious shredded finely and stir fried with other vegetables as part of a Chinese stir-fry, or shredded and fried with onion and then stirred into mashed potato and eaten as Colcannon, especially when it’s fried and gets a nice crispy brown crust. . Have never tried them with garlic butter but will certainly give it a try as we have a mountain of the things to get through over the Christmas break.
