Brown discharge one week before my period is due…am I pregnant?
I have brown discharge before my period every month. It is just your period “getting ready” to start. You have probably never had this before because you have been on the pill and it makes for shorter lighter periods. Now that you are off this pill your periods will be different. Brown spotting/discharge before your period is just your bodies way of getting rid of old blood. Many women mistake this for implantation bleeding and get excited. On the other hand, many people mistake implantation bleeding for your period getting ready to start. So in short, no way to know until you test positive on a test and/or miss your period.
