Bridge causing Malocclusion?

After a bridge replacement (upper right #2-3-4) and two malocclusion adjustments (i.e., grinding), my teeth still hurt. My dentist said that he can do some more adjusting/grinding, and then the next step would be for him to make an expensive appliance. I did not have these problems before I had my bridge replaced and I’m wondering if I should (1) get another bridge from a different dentist, or (2) go with the appliance? Could another bridge just add to the problem since my teeth have been “re-aligned” via all these “adjustments?” I’m 50 years old and I’m afraid to keep grinding on my teeth. …
