Breastfeeding is such a struggle. What are we doing wrong?
Although breastfeeding is supposed to be a natural process, for some mothers and babies it can be a challenge. There are a few basic guidelines to help you relax your baby and get her to latch on properly (see p.228). First, try not to force the nipple into your baby’s mouth. Instead, wait for your baby to lean towards the nipple. For this to happen, your baby must be turned towards you with her head, shoulders, and body in a straight line (see p,229).
