Students can and often do choose to share rides with other students they know. As a part of safe travel, we recommend that students share with their parents who they will be traveling with, the route they plan to travel, and the approximate times of leaving and arriving. In addition, having multiple contact numbers and basic “emergency kits” in the vehicle are good ideas, particularly in inclement weather or on longer trips.
