BRANGIE WEDDING GATE: WHAT HAPPENED AT STAR MAGAZINE?
So, if you haven’t heard by now Star Magazine thought it had the scoop of a lifetime. On Saturday night, the mag posted on its website that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie tied the knot in New Orleans. It was “an intimate wedding ceremony in the couple’s adopted city.” People Magazine quickly secured a source that said the couple wasn’t even in New Orleans at the time of the wedding! On Sunday, after the entire world picked up on Star’s story, the mag posted the following embarrassing retraction: “Sources in a position to have information regarding a secret wedding ceremony between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had confirmed to Star that the couple married in the French Quarter Wedding Chapel on Saturday, March 29. “There were two weddings, one planned and one unplanned,” one source told Star. “Brad and Angelina’s was the planned ceremony. The weather wasn’t good, so we were indoors.” (WHAT THE HELL DOES THIS MEAN???) After further investigation, the sources are not standing by their story
