brake lights stay on, is the light switch stuck?

The brake stop switch is located under the dash at the top of the brake pedal arm, it may be stuck or the return spring broke if it uses one some do some don’t, there is a threaded adjuster and lock nut on some assemblies, you may be able to free it up with electrical contact cleaner and readjust threaded switch with locknut. First see if you can make the brake light go out by lifting up on the pedal, have an assistant look at the brake lights while you lift up on it if so the spring that retracts the brake pedal back is week or broke.
