Can Your Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter Be Used on a Computer? Monday March 10, 2008 | FAQ | People occasionally ask me about removing the Wi-Fi network adapter from their Xbox 360 to use it in an ordinary computer. If you are using the official Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Network Adapter, this simply won’t work. You cannot use Microsoft’s 360 adapter on your computer for the same reason that ordinary USB adapters don’t work on the Xbox – the needed device driver support is lacking. If you are using a generic USB wireless game adapter or Ethernet-to-wireless bridge (like I do), then of course you can swap the adapter between your Xbox and computer with no problem. → More – About Networking Your Xbox More about: ???–>
