I can’t believe your comments about a lynch mob. The ones who need lynching are the car manufacturers for not fitting a back-off or auto-reverse switch to prevent this from happening! OK, the parents made a tragic error of judgement by leaving him in the car but this is not the first time this accident has happened, not so long ago it was a dog!! 10 years ago I had a Rover 820 with electric windows and it was fitted with ‘back off’ switches on all windows and they all worked!(about the only things that did).
