Review: This mount have been my organization’s choice for many years. It allows us to use it in many of our existing 1.5″ NPT mounting columns as well as adapt them with non-NPT pipe columns and plates. In my experience, Chief have always made the SLB bracket available for new projectors in a timely manner. One caveat though, there is a tendency for the NPT thread set screw to jam with one of the pivot screw washer, but since I always use the security screws, it is a temporary problem for me.
