Bought a car in New jersey, car dealer lost the title, been a month what do i do?
The dealer said he is waiting on the dmv, that was two weeks ago, I know it doesnt take that long on a new title. A: Oh don’t be too sure, the DMV can take up to 6 weeks or more. If you are really certain the title is lost, you can apply for a new one at the DMV. My husband does it all the time when he buys very old cars.
