Both the inner and outer bearings are marked GILLIAM, with the inner being a #1307 and the outer being a #1305. Any suggestions?
Thanks Tim ANSWER: SERIES 11A WHEEL BEARINGS Tim, It’s not uncommon to find that many old bearing companies used the same number as their competition. Same happens today. Many of the bearings used on Franklin’s are still available today using the same number. It’s rare, but once in awhile you’ll need to give the bearing supplier the bore, shaft, and thickness measurement, and type of application for the bearing in question. Auto parts stores are becoming less of a place to try and track down old bearings and seals. If it’s not listed in their computer as sitting on a shelf in their supplier’s warehouse, too often they assume it’s not available. I’m lucky in that I have a local auto parts store that will go beyond the regional warehouses and call manufacturers direct to see if parts, or substitutes are available.
