Boreal or Rain, which forest region of the world holds the largest percentage of resources?
The boreal forest region is the largest in terms of raw acreage of trees and therefore was the most resources in that respect. As for which has the largest impact to the world’s overall economic health, I would have to say rainforests have had the greatest impact. Boreal forests are mainly used for lumber, while tropical rainforests have contributed various spices, foods, a large variety of medicines, as well as lumber. Rainforests could very well continue to provide additional valuable goods in the future.
