Mark Lennon’s CDs can be purchased at his website, at www.markylennon.com, or at CD Baby, here and here. Kipp Lennon’s “Boom Boom Party” was only released in Japan, and went out of print shortly after its release. So procuring a copy is nearly impossible. But FYI, it’s an album consisting of full versions of keyboard-heavy, cheesy, 80s-sounding television commercial jingles that were popular in Japan at the time. Kipp did no writing, he only sang on the tracks. It’s God-awful, and Kipp is justifiably embarrassed by its existence. The album cover proudly announces: “A little tip: When he finishes sing he always asks ‘It’s okay?’ and he winks cutely! Kipp Lennon is very cute and funny American boy!” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
