Bodybuilding FAQ – Are there ideal body measurements?I find it extremely important to know what the goals are in whatever I do. In the case of body-building I would love to know how much gain (or loss in case of my waist) in measurements I need. If we suppose that a person is 6 feet, how big are the parts of his body? Answer: For a person that is 6 feet tall, ideal body measurements would be the following: [ol} Chest/Back: 56 inches Arms: 20-21 Thighs/Hams: 30 Calves: 19-20 Waist: 32 I don’t know what your current measurements are but this is a nice worthy goal to shoot for. It will take you years to get there but by shooting for smaller goals in terms of 1/2 inch increments you will get there eventually.
