BMDI interface in IView: What do I do if the Bedside Medical Device Interface (BMDI) goes down, or does not automatically post to PowerChart?
It is possible for all or part of the BMDI interface to periodically stop sending results to PowerChart. When this happens the ITS, EMR and Interface teams work with Bio Med to fix the issue as quickly as possible. However, it is important to note that you can still chart vital signs and other monitored data even if BMDI is not working.
