Bloomfield seems like a good fit for me, but how are the winters?
Bloomfield has a much milder climate than Michigan or even Indianapolis. October is typically full of Indian summer type days. This often runs into Nov. I live about 30-45 minutes away in Bloomington. Usually by the 2nd/3rd week of April spring is in full force. I don’t think it’s as dreary here as it is farther north. This part of Indiana is different than the “flat lands” most people think of when they think of Indiana or the midwest. Rolling hills, creeks, lots of trees.
