A. Blandford is a great program, and we can continue to offer a great program to students year after year because of the incredible parental & community support. We ask parents of Blandford School students to help in a number of ways. First, we need parent volunteers for various activities throughout the school year. Parents help with things like: Family Picnic, International Studies, A Christmas Carol, Science Fair, Hot Lunch, Fundraisers, Organizing & returning empty, refundable pop cans, working in our Perennial Butterfly Garden, Coaching the Boys or Girls Basketball Team, helping assemble birdfeeders (made from almost all recycled items!), Wildflower Tea baking, Pioneer Days Studies and Crafts, Library and Research Helpers, Chicken Chores, and miscellaneous help in the classroom. (If you plan on helping out at the school or volunteering to drive for any of our field trips, please ask our Secretary for a GRPS Volunteer Application).
