Black plastic engine cover torn off on 2004 Toyota Camry?
The black plastic engine cover underneath the car was ripped off due to rough driving. Part of it now hangs. It was scraping against the ground as I drove but I propped it up so that it hangs about a few inches from the ground. How necessary is this to replace/fix or should I just tear it off/duct tape it back? I found the bolt that held it in place, and it seems like it broke. Thanks. A: you can get a replacement from dealership,or salvage yard these plastic shields keep road debris from getting caught in drive belts or moving components in your engine compartment protects wiring,lines,or hoses too.
