BIOLOGY HELP!!!!!! how the heck does a volvox move??

0

Most Volvox are found in colonies of from 500 to many thousands of cells linked together, usually forming a sphere. Each individual cell has two flagella that protrude from the mucus-like substance that holds the colony together. Somehow, all the cells in the colony seem to work together to move the colony toward the sun. (Each cell also has an eyespot.) So, there must be some sort of communication between the members of the colony to produce this coordinated movement.
