In the case of an increased uric acid level, we advise against taking ORIGINAL BIOLABOR BREWERS YEAST tablets. The latter naturally contain purines, which are transformed into uric acid in the body. The purine content in all yeasts and thus in brewers yeast as well is too high to permit consumption of these products with the low-purine diet required for increased uric acid levels.
