Related to “Mystery of the 7’s” tech support forum thread found here: http://forums.bioware.com/viewtopic.html?topic=334797&forum=11 The problem of the screenshots is actually a common one, likely due to a misinterpreted command from a piece of hardware. The fixes suggested are: -Make the “scrnshot” directory read only. -A simple reboot of your system. -stuck key on keyboard – bang on key to get it unstuck. -Bad keyboard – try another keyboard. -USB/wireless keyboard that BG doesn’t like – Use normal PS/2 keyboard. -USB hub sending strange input signals – unplug hub. -SysTray Multimedia keyboard software – disable while playing BG2. -Other background software interfering with input – Shutdown non-essential software running in the background. -DirectX upgrade – Download and install the latest version of Microsoft DirectX: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.aspx 1.09: [BG/BGII] – How to properly uninstall and reinstall your video card drivers.
