Beyond craigslist, where can I find musicians to start a band in Chicago?
Just a quick search brought up Chicago-musician.com http://www.chicago-musician.com/ I’m not sure how well it will work, but you might want to give it a try. Regarding Craigslist… don’t give up on it yet. Chicago is a big town and you can always try a new or different worded request in the ‘wanted’ section or music area. Whenever I’m looking for something via Craigslist, I will always check regularly and not only look for people posting but also post myself. You might also want to try Musolist.com http://www.musolist.com/ They might have the musicians you’re looking for. Having a music background myself, I have found that diligence does pay off!
