Hi Kim, A lapbook is a learning tool created by taking a file folder and folding it in such a way as to look like a shutter. Inside the lapbook your child would create mini-books, folds, and flaps that would focus on different subtopics of a certain subject. For example, if you were studying the solar system you might have mini-books, flaps or folds for planets, galaxies, constellations and so on.
