Best way to develop cures and effective treatments for disease?
Wouldn’t it make more sense for the medical experts, universities, and governments to focus on one horrible disease at a time and work each on in order until the top 10 are cured. Why use a shotgun approach when it’s proven not to work. We need a Manhattan project against cancer. Spend the billions and billions of dollars on Cancer, cure it, and move on to something else. If you spread out 90 billion dollars on 90,000 diseases, you are doing nothing but paying the salary of 90,000 geeks in a lab coat to screw around on pet ideas and pis sing grant dollars away. Focus everyone from proffessors to doctors to pharmacutical companies to volunteers for controlled tests on one disease and it will be cured very soon. Or we can keep doing what we’ve been doing and we’ll make a lot of people rich doing absolutely nothing to benefit the general public.
