Best electric tooth brush for braces?
The Sonicare toothbrush is probably the best electric toothbrush for braces. I don’t recommed the spinning brushes they only clean the brackets, not the teeth. You can angle the Sonicare up and down to clean all tooth surfaces. Once you get your Sonicare, take it to your Dentist or Dental Hygienist and ask them to show you how to use it properly. As for the mouthwash question, you should use mouthwash everyday. I think the Crest Pro-Health rinse is a great product for people with braces. But you also need to floss daily too. Another item you should look into is an Inter-dental brush. They will help you keep the sides of the brackets clean. If you don’t brush and floss your teeth everyday, your enamel will become decalcified. This means the enamel will be weakened and have white sopts on it and those spots can turn into cavities in the future.
