Besides the price, what is the difference between a CD and a netCD on mp3.com?
A netCD is a “virtual CD,” meaning you get to have access to the songs from your my.mp3.com account. To listen to a netCD, you will always need to be on a computer hooked up to the Internet. It is not much different than going to my page and listening to my songs from there. A CD is an actual physical CD that you can play in any CD player. Most people get CDs over netCDs because they like the convenience of being able to play the music in their home stereo or car and not having to be online to play it.
