Besides making shots, what makes N.C. State difficult to guard?
They have big guys who are really good passers. [Ben] McCauley is one of the best passing big men in college basketball. They have a really heady, savvy, intelligent point guard who has played forever, played many games, played with older guys. He has a great understanding of bounce passes, screen and roll. They have a center can turn and score on people and shoots a great percentage, but when the defense starts drawing to him he’s a great passer. [Brandon] Costner is a big guy who can shoot from deep. That stretches the defensive more. With [Gavin] Grant and Courtney Fells, they have wonderful athletes who can finish. They can also shoot. They really have a good mix.
