Besides Alex Ferguson, can people name me a better British football manager than Walter Smith?
I have a great deal of respect for Walter Smith but there are quite a few managers in the EPL and Championship who I would consider as technically better. Davie Moyes is a perfect example, as he is doing the business at Everton, while Walter failed so miserably in the same job. Roy Hodgson is also one I rate higher than Watty because he took Fulham on and made them excellent without spending too much, he earned a move to Liverpool. As I said I really do respect the job Walter has done for Rangers considering the lack of finances but it is a labour of love and there is an element of luck about his last two SPL trophy wins…….lucky Celtic were inept!!! Hahahaha!!!!
