Bermuda Seed Watering?

Bermuda likes heat. As soon as things warm up the grass will come up. But, you need to keep the soil damp. Sounds like you are doing okay though. It will fill in fast since Bermuda propagates by roots as well as seed. Once established, it’s heck to get rid of it. I hope you won’t regret planting it in years to come.

No I don’t think you need worry. Although seeds are generally buried in the ground at planting, this does not always happen. Sometimes it is simply scattered over the surface, but in the right conditions it still grows. Grass seeds take about 10 days to germinate, so it’s early days yet. You will get a lot of weeds come through with the grass, but you can deal with them later. In the meantime water the seed if you need to, for a week or two more then get back to us.
