George Roden tried to establish himself as Branch Davidian prophet, but was ousted by David Koresh (then called Vernon Howell). The Branch Davidian Bible studies from the 1980s contain references to George Roden’s group, and to allogations made by George Roden against Vernon Howell. George Roden is currently housed in a mental hospital for the criminally insane in Texas. He split a man’s head open with an ax – killing him.
