I have both my cartilage & belly button pierced and my cartilage hurt quite a bit but when i had my belly button pierced it didn’t hurt at all i couldn’t feel it whatsoever. The piercer uses a number spray so you won’t feel a thing.

Belly button piercings don’t hurt at all, just feels like a little pinch. I would think a cartilage piercing would hurt a lot more.
