BEHAVIOR & TRAITS Are Savannahs lap cats?
In general, no. Savannahs are affectionate and will give head butts. They will likely sleep in bed with their owners, but they do not like to be picked up and held. They are not a lap cat. F1-F3 Savannahs are especially “wild.” We have found that a Savannah will likely take up with one family member. Each of ours has a favorite person, but loves each one of us.
