Before I put down grass seed or sod, how many inches should i till the dirt?
Hi: I am so happy to hear you say you will be properly preparing your soil for seed or sod. So many people forget this step of preparation and it is important you prepare the ground. You can til two to four inches depending if your ground is flat or uneven. Make sure you work the soil with the tiller a few times.
