Bees of some sort appear to be drilling lots of holes in the cedar fascia boards on my house. What can I do?

These are carpenter bees, which construct nests by drilling holes in dry cedar. Control by spraying the area with liquid Sevin at dusk when most will be in their nests. Fill hole with putty or other suitable material.
