There are a lot of Beanie Babies and many variations of them today. Since Beanie Jeanie is a truly relational database (not a 2-D spreadsheet database), I can really organize the hundreds of Beanies in the most efficient and clear way. As of January 98, including Erin, Beanie Jeanie shows 136 Beanies that included 207 variations. Here are some of the rules I established for organizing the Ty Beanie collection: 1. Any Beanie with the same appearance, style#, birthday and poem will be variations of the same Beanie (i.e. Nana is a variation of Bongo). 2. Any Beanie that has a first generation heart tag, and is not retired as of Jan 1, 98 will have a “Old Tag” variation (i.e. Chocolate has a “Current” and a “Old Tag” variation).
