Battery keeps going flat?

0

My battery on my 2003 Audi A6. I took it to Auto Zone and they hooked it to the machine, they told me the battery and alternator was fine. When i let it sit over night, the battery goes flat. I have checked everything inside the car, nothing is left on. My friends suggests that there may be a bare wire somewhere just draining power against the car’s body. Is this possible, and where do i even start to track it down. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks A: I had the same problem about a month ago on my VW and their was a short. If it isn’t the alternator or battery I would have them check to see if you have a short somewhere in your wiring, don’t let it go too long because when you do have it running and if you have a short you can cause a fire. That was what I was told by my mechanic. Good Luck to you!
