The most important thing you can do is not let the contractor bully you into services that you do not want or need. You hear far too much about this happening and it is very unfortunate. Contractors who come into YOUR home are supposed to abide by your rules and deadlines. Obviously there is always a complication or two, but never let them run all over you. My friend was talked into spending wat to much for his bathroom tile on a standard remodel. Obviously you want something safe and durable, but how should you go about getting the one that is just right? He didnt know that the contractor was pushing him to spend way too much.
