Batch what does that really mean?
There are different scenarios associated with this word. We need to be clear which we are talking about. Batch – load a file/batch of authority records Batch – PromptCat records come together once a day in a file Batch- OCLC has a batch processing option to allow export of a group of records Batch – EDI processing At this time we are prepared to handle the OCLC Batch option. MnSCU and Ex Libris have tested and found that records will drop (be lost) if you process over 50. ODIN is asking that we do no more than 20. More will be considered later after more testing.
