Based on TIA standards, which tier does this facility rate (1-4)?
According to Tellurian Networks’ understanding of the draft TIA-942 standard, Tellurian Networks’ datacenter is between a tier 3 and tier 4 facility. Tellurian has dual power distribution paths and N+1 redundancy on all UPS systems, uses dual power supplies for all equipment, but does not have independent dual N+1 UPS units which is required for tier 4 classification. Tellurian has experienced 100% power uptime since our power system installation in 2002 including our scheduled UPS battery replacement, weekly UPS testing, and weekly generator and ATS testing. Tellurian utilizes hot and cold aisles for optimal cooling. Since the TIA standards document is still under construction, this answer may change based on the final TIA 942 standard.
