Band Councils/Tribal Councils are not listed as eligible. Do they fall under “non-profit”?
Band Councils and Tribal Councils can sometimes be a part of the not-for-profit sector, but occasionally belong to the private sector. Only if a Band or Tribal Council is non-profit in nature, can it be considered eligible for funding. Individuals or organizations from the private sector are not eligible applicants.
