Background of Cool Page is messed up?
See also Troubleshooting at http://CoolPageHelp.com. This problem apparently only affects people using an ATI video card, or using a rebranded video card using ATI technology. According to Microsoft circular, there is a fix to this problem. Simply insert the following line of text in the C:\Windows\system.ini file just below the line “[Display]”: DevBMP=0 Note, that is a zero, NOT a capital O. And remember to restart your computer. If the above doesn’t work, you can set the background of your web page to any image (but not solid color), using Background in Edit menu (or drag a Background from Objects window), and this will fix the problem as well. Or if you prefer, read the Getting Started section of User Manual in Help menu, for another solution which deals with editing the performance settings for your video card. We are further investigating this problem and expect to work an automatic fix into Cool Page installer in future release. Please use the above solutions in mean time. Pleas
